Call for Papers
CARME 2027 is the tenth in a series of international conferences on multidimensional graphical techniques and the analysis of large data sets, especially categorical data. The conference will take place from 22 to 25 June 2027 at the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece.
Conference topics
• Correspondence analysis – simple, multiple, joint, non-symmetrical, taxicab and canonical correspondence analysis
• Categorical data modelling – methods for analysing, modelling and interpreting categorical and ordinal data structures
• Clustering and classification – cluster analysis, supervised classification and related methods for categorical and mixed-type data
• Social spaces – methods for constructing and interpreting social, cultural and symbolic spaces from complex data
• Compositional and complex data – methods for compositional data, networks, big data and other complex data structures
• Data visualization – multivariate visualization, statistical graphics and the history of graphical methods
Applications
Contributions are welcomed from a wide spectrum of fields: sociology, marketing, psychology, finance, food research, education, linguistics, archaeology, biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, geochemistry, networks, sports analytics, and beyond. Interdisciplinary work is particularly welcome.
Submission of abstracts
Please submit an abstract of at most 300 words. Only one abstract per presenting author may be submitted. Submission details, deadlines and registration will be announced on the conference website; please consult it for the current schedule.

Venue
The opening ceremony and plenary sessions will be held at the Ionian Academy (1824–1864), the first modern Greek university and the predecessor of today's Ionian University. Parallel sessions will take place at the Department of Tourism, in the central building of the Ionian University, I. Theotoki 72.
Getting there
Corfu is served by Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport (CFU), just 2 km from the city centre, with direct connections to nearly 100 airports and up to seven daily flights from Athens. June is peak season, so early booking is strongly recommended.
